Another poem set to music, this one a love poem my mother wrote for my father when they were still quite young. Bittersweet now, as he died some years ago.

Lojo brought the track to another level with her screaming backup vocals and the first note of the solo might be the purest I've ever hit a bend.

It's very nearly half-past four
the tag end of the night
and here comes the first false dawn
with its first small piece of light

But what do we need of other lights
or any other dawn
when we shimmer in one another's arms?
No more darkness, no more night
for we are dawn, and love is light

The sun is slowly coming up
so brilliant in its reds
and ordinary people rise
from ordinary beds
